So while wandering aimlessly about the GLORIOUS server of Moon Guard, I came upon an RSP that -- while not necessarilly terrible -- made me pause for a moment and read it over again. The following is the RSP of a Night Elf Warrior, mind you.

Obligatory intro post: So, I've been skulking around here for a while, mostly just pointing and laughing like the rest of the watchers, but I finally got ballsy enough to apply, and hopefully I'm doing this right. (If not, feel free to yell that I'm doing it wrong. I can learn, really.)

Brass tacks: I found this a while back, shared it with my guild (who all had a good laugh), and saved it just for you guys for when I finally got around to getting in here. I'm curious... How do the holy relics manage to not catch fire/smolder/insert violent exothermic reaction here when in contact with the demon flesh armor? Also, how do you make flesh into armor? I thought that's what the skins were used for?

I’ve oft maintained that there’s a world of difference between King Wrynn in the comics and King Wrynn in WoW itself. The former is a one-dimensional Author Proxy; the latter, well, I still feel that there’s a lot more to him then just Orc-thumping.

So I was rather glad for one surprising character development in Icecrown Citadel.

the thing with this person was that they ragequit the server to go to Moon Guard (why am I not surprised?) about a year ago. this person left with a LOT of drama behind her. i saw her sign on her shaman a couple weeks ago while MG was down. one of the first things she asked was if Sentinels still hated her.

people she knew/RP'd with/ragequit over probably have either left server, stopped playing, taken her off their flists, or forgotten about her altogether.

the thing that prompted me to post the RSP, though, was teh speshul eyezorz.

Key points:

- They punch the pregnant DK in the face to knock her out while she's in labor.
- She's having her baby 'too early'. Too early = After about a month. Miraculously, it lives. Or dies. It's unclear.
- Holy priests can't heal DKs.
- Tenses and grammar be DAMNED TO THE FIERY PITS OF HELL!

Once upon a time there was a Vrykul who was allowed into the Alliance because Tirion Fording gave him a sword and told him to 'kill something big' (No, really. He applied for my former guild and that was his story in a nutshell). He didn't worship Arthas as his death god, so all the other Vrykul called him names and always picked him last for their little Vrykul games...

So, I've been gone a while...A entire 12 days of no posts. The good news is, I hit 80! Bad news is, there's been alooooot of drama lately. I feel like Im in a constant state of PMS, and I wanna strangle a few people in our guild...But, yeah, that's the reason I havent been around.

Anyway, Imma post just one sue or so, because when I post several, I dont feel they get the attention they -quite- deserve. So, here's a interesting case...

A felblood elf that got res'ed by a DK and is a 'demon hunter' in all practical sences of the word.

So I was perusing mmo-champion, as everyone's talking about 3.3 dropping tomorrow.  For my daily dose of self-flagellation I started reading the comments on the latest post.  Now, reading the comments on any given post on that site is like stapling your hand to the wall.  It's a bad idea, it's gonna hurt like a bitch, and it'll be a royal pain in the ass to tear yourself away.

I'm scrolling through, and a bit of text in someone's signature catches my eye.  It's a wowwiki entry for the character depicted in their graphical signature.  Nine times out of ten, someone with a wiki entry is bound to be a roleplayer, or at least someone with a vested interest in lore and how it pertains to their character.  What I found was a typical wall of text describing the character (a female draenei paladin) and all her flawless ethereal beauty.  Rolling my eyes, I scrolled down ... and down ... and down ... and down.  I think the damn wiki entry is so long it must detail every aspect of her life, including every lengthy amount of time she spent in the bathroom copping a squat.

Then I come to a list of notable characters in the character's life, and I come to this tidbit:

Uther Lightbringer: Caelic's mentor upon joining the Alliance and inducted her into the Silver Hand.

Wait ... wait.  Hold on.  I'm ... lemme see here.  I start doing timeline math in my head.  How ... how is this even possible?  How did she, a draenei, know Uther Lightbringer?  This is gonna be a long one, kiddos, so get a hot drink and a blanket, and come cuddle up for storytime with Maman Kazkah.

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.
